ADS-B Testing and Compliance

FAA Avionics Maintenance Branch officials will discuss ADS-B equipment installation issues and offer insight on testing and system compliance, including ADS-B field approvals, equipage and implementation updates, ADS-B compliance monitoring, post-installation performance statistics, common causes for noncompliance, and details of a sample compliance report. FAA training certificates will be issued for this two-hour course.

Part 145 Repair Station Final Rule

The AEA will review the repair station final rule and the changes that must be made to your operations to be in compliance with Part 145. The good news — the AEA pushed back on the “heavy hitters” of the 2012 NPRM. The bad news — there are a number of “minor” changes that will affect your business and cause revisions to your repair station manuals and training programs.
