Click here to request media credentials no later than March 5, if you have not done so already. Media credentials allow access to the ever-popular new product introductions, all regulatory round-table discussions, general sessions, AEA Fast Traks and technical training professional development classes, the AEA Exhibit Hall and the AEA Media Luncheon on Tuesday, March 26, sponsored by Aspen Avionics and Sporty's Pilot Shop. Media credentials do not include tickets to AEA-hosted social functions, which can be purchased separately from the AEA. Members of the media should make their hotel reservations directly with the MGM Grand Hotel & Convention Center, which will serve as the headquarters hotel for the AEA Convention. To guarantee the special AEA room rate of $140 per night, reservations must be made no later than Thursday, Feb. 21. The AEA encourages all attendees to make hotel reservations well in advance, as this year's event takes place during the traditional spring break season and the NCAA college basketball championships. When you make your room reservation at the special AEA rate, the MGM Grand Hotel will provide a one-time, $75 credit toward restaurants or shops at the MGM Grand. Plus, the AEA room rate includes free Wi-Fi in your hotel room, restaurants, casino, pools and lobby, and the hotel is waiving the daily resort fee of $20. In addition, the AEA Educational Foundation, in partnership with the National Center for Aerospace and Transportation Technologies (NCATT), will offer registered attendees free Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification and endorsement exams.
