This session covers the basics of data-link via Iridium and the benefits of using this service, as well as information regarding ongoing trials for future safety services. This session covers programming, maintenance and testing of Kannad’s emergency locator transmitters. Attendees will learn how to properly program and commission a Kannad 406 MHz ELT, perform its annual inspection, replace its battery, and test and troubleshoot system errors.
