Congressman Sam Graves Meets with AEA Board of Directors

The annual AEA board of directors meeting is underway at the association’s international headquarters in Lee’s Summit, Mo. The two-day meeting takes place Nov. 8-9 at the AEA’s Dan Derby Center for Professional Development.

On Friday, the board of directors took time from a full agenda to meet with U.S. Rep. Sam Graves, a Republican member of Congress who is back home in the Show-Me State of Missouri. Graves is the chairman of the House Small Business Committee and serves as co-chair of the House General Aviation Caucus. Graves discussed a variety of issues related to general aviation and heard various concerns and feedback on a variety of general aviation topics from AEA board members.

Graves is a pilot, a passionate aviator and strong supporter of general aviation on Capitol Hill.

The AEA board meeting is being held in conjunction with the AEA Central Regional Meeting in Kansas City, Mo. The event is the final AEA Regional Meeting of 2013.
