“The AEA convention and trade show is a strategic component of our marketing strategy. Informing the industry of new products and how to integrate them is vital to our success. We reach our target market and our brand is enhanced as a result of our participation.”

Register Online Today for Media Credentials

To register for media credentials for the AEA International Convention & Trade Show, go to Register. When filling out the registration form, under “Fee,” scroll down to “Press,” for a complimentary registration.

Media credentials allow access into the AEA Annual Awards Luncheon featuring First Officer Jeff Skiles, the FAA Leadership Panel featuring FAA Administrator Randy Babbitt, all regulatory round tables, general sessions, seminars, classes, product introductions and the AEA Exhibit Hall. These credentials do not include tickets to AEA-hosted social functions, such as the First-Night Party at Sea World, which can be purchased separately from the AEA.

After registering online, a confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address provided. Media credentials will not be mailed prior to the convention; they can be picked up at the AEA Registration Desk in the Sun Lobby of the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., which is the 2010 convention hotel. Please provide a business card when picking up media credentials. These credentials are required for entrance into the AEA Convention Press Headquarters and convention activities.

The Press Headquarters, sponsored by Sporty’s and Aspen Avionics, is in the Daytona Room near the Sun Ballroom at the Gaylord Palms. Computers, Internet connections, refreshments and staff are available in the Press HQ.

The annual Media Luncheon, sponsored by Aspen Avionics and Sporty’s, is at 12:05 p.m. Thursday, April 8 — immediately following the “New Product Introductions” and prior to the official ribbon-cutting to open the AEA Exhibit Hall.

Flashdrives of the “New Product Introductions” will be given to members of the media following the luncheon.

Please RSVP for the Aspen Avionics/Sporty’s Media Luncheon by e-mailing Trisha Drape, director of communications for the AEA, at trishad@aea.net.
